Terms & Conditions
Last updated 23 October 2026
These Terms govern your use of CruzenBook, a GST billing, inventory and accounting service operated by Cruzen Digital (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. The service
CruzenBook lets a business create GST invoices and other vouchers, track parties, items and stock, record payments, and view reports, through our website and our Android and iOS applications. Features available to you depend on the plan on your account.
2. Your account
You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time code. You are responsible for keeping access to that number secure and for everything done under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has gained access.
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. You may only use the service for a lawful business purpose, and you are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter, including GSTINs, tax rates and invoice particulars.
3. Plans, billing and taxes
Paid plans are sold on a monthly or yearly term and are charged in advance through our payment partner. Prices are shown on our pricing page in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. A plan gives access for the term purchased; it does not renew automatically unless you buy another term.
Your plan activates once the payment is confirmed by the payment partner. If a payment is reversed or charged back, we may suspend the paid features until it is settled.
4. Your data
The business data you enter remains yours. We store it to provide the service, and we do not sell it. Deleting a record in the app hides it from your views but retains it in our systems, so that an accidental deletion can be recovered and so that an audit trail of billing documents is preserved. See our Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or to another customer’s data, upload malicious code, interfere with the service’s operation, or use it to create false or fraudulent documents. We may suspend an account that does, and may report unlawful activity.
6. Availability
We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, a failure at a third party we depend on, or circumstances outside our reasonable control may interrupt it.
7. Not professional advice
CruzenBook is a record-keeping tool. It does not provide tax, accounting or legal advice, and figures it produces are only as accurate as the data entered. You remain responsible for your own tax filings and statutory compliance. Please consult a qualified professional before relying on any output for a filing.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost data, except where that exclusion is not permitted by law. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
9. Ending the agreement
You may stop using the service at any time; see our Cancellation & Refund Policy for what that means for a paid term. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these Terms, and will tell you why unless we are prevented from doing so.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. The current version is always on this page with its date. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at New Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction.
